Persnickety® 713 is a carefully developed, precisely balanced blend of proprietary, naturally occurring, strict, and facultative anaerobic bacteria in a liquid medium.
These bacteria are selected and cultured for their ability to reduce H2S to elemental sulfur, which is stored intracellularly. All members are non-toxic, non-pathogenic, harmless to aquatic life, and compatible with other desirable bacteria found in wastewater. They become a synergistic part of the biomass, resulting in healthy, efficient biomass. The healthier biomass results in more complete digestion. As efficiency increases, BOD/TSS and FOG are reduced assisting in meeting standards for discharges or reducing surcharges. Persnickety 713 has been successfully used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, ponds, lagoons and river and lake restoration.
River and Lake Bioremediation with PERSNICKETY® 713
Bioremediation is a process used to treat contaminated water by altering environmental conditions to stimulate growth of microorganisms and remove the target pollutants.
This process involves adding the live bacteria Persnickety® 713, proportionately to the sewage discharged into the river on a daily basis. 713 becomes a synergistic part of the biomass, resulting in healthy, efficient biomass. The healthier biomass results in more complete digestion. As efficiency increases, BOD/TSS and FOG are reduced. This section includes technical sheets, news articles, case studies, and case histories of these results.
